With the ramping up of catastrophic climate events in the past decade, we have begun to perceive nature as hostile. It is easy to forget that these disruptive changes have been caused primarily by our reckless behavior. Nature, to the contrary, still is the nurturing force, the caring mother of our planet. It is tending to a sick environment exactly as a mother would tend to a sick child. It is this concept that I intended to visualize with this artwork.
